Dear Resident,
Mountsorrel Beat Team – Community Update The Mountsorrel Beat Team has continued patrols in hotspot locations within the village, including Mountsorrel Memorial Fields and Halstead Park. Officers have been patrolling both on foot and in a marked police vehicle to provide reassurance. During this period, no further issues have been reported by members of the public.
There have been no reported burglaries within the village over the past fourteen days.
Speed checks on Walton Way have now been completed on two separate occasions. The first took place a couple of weeks ago during the evening, with a second check completed this week during the early morning.
The team has also been liaising with a local housing provider in relation to neighbour-related issues and recently met with a local parish councillor to discuss and listen to community concerns.
Officers attended a road traffic collision within the Charnwood area, which thankfully resulted in no injuries.
We have continued to progress crime-related enquiries as part of ongoing investigations.
